The site of the dehydrated bone graft technique
modelled on a sintered anatomic replica:
3D Block is a method by means
of which it is possible to model dehydrated bone
grafts on sterile anatomic replicas of maxillary
teeth.
These models are obtained through the elaboration of digital CAT data thanks to a 3D rendering with highly sophisticated dedicated software. The 3D models derived from digital CAT data faithfully reproduce the bone anatomy of the patient.
The maxillary anatomic sintered replicas have
the peculiar characteristic of being resistant
to thermal damage up to beyond 180°. This physical
characteristic makes it possible to sterilize
3D models..
The 3D Block technique was set up by Dr. Michele Jacotti in 2003.
